Why the Bahamas is the Most Beautiful Region I Have Ever Traveled To

Between the beautiful beaches, new foods to try, exotic animals on land and off, and some of the most gorgeous all-inclusive resorts in the Caribbean, there is no questioning that the Bahamas is the superior vacation region in terms of beauty.

A Cost for Every Mood

The Bahamas beaches are some of the most well-known shores, and it is for solid reasoning. The Bahamas offer a different coast for every mood. Want to try something new and unusual, while still being in shock of true beauty? Pig Beach was a crazy experience that I doubt I will ever get to see again. It’s not every day that you get to swim with foreign pigs in the most beautiful water known to man.

The Scenery from the Air is Beautiful

Since the Bahamas are just a bunch of little islands, flights are necessary to get there, and the flight was just the start of all of the gorgeous sights I would be seeing on my trip. We flew Southwest, and I luckily ended up sitting in a window seat. Flying over the blue water for miles on miles is a sight I will never be able to remove from my memory, in a good way.

For my sister, this vacation was just for relaxing and sightseeing, and the sandy shores of the Bahamas were the perfect location for just that. The colorful homes lined up along the coast, crystal blue skies, turquoise waters, ideal temperatures, and all-around positive vibes make this region one of my all-time favorite vacation destinations.

There’s Something for Everyone

For all of the adrenaline junkies like me, the Bahamas still offers so much radiance, even while swimming with sharks or parasailing high in the air. Whether you are viewing the white, sandy beaches and beautiful water from a parachute 15 feet in the air, or looking at all of the majestic sea creatures in a submarine 15 feet below sea level, there was no doubt in my mind that the Bahamas is not the most gorgeous place on Earth.

The Water is Gorgeous

The Bahamas are widely known for their perfectly blue waters, adding to the list of reasons why the Bahamas are the most beautiful place I have ever traveled to. Watching the sunlight hit off the water is like looking at the most beautiful painting, except the picture is real life. The match-up of the bluest waters and the whitest sand makes you feel like you are living in a dream.

The Weather is Perfect

The weather in the Bahamas is simply to die for. It is always warm, sunny, and all around the perfect temperature. In January, the month notorious in the northeast for being long and cold, it typically does not go below 66 degrees Fahrenheit, which would be miracle weather for most other places.

The Resorts are Unimaginable

No matter what beach you choose to spend your stay at the Bahamas at, the resorts available to families, couples, groups of friends, and even just one daring, lone traveler put the cherry on top of the vacation. During my trip, my family and I stayed at the Hilton at Resorts World Bimini, and it felt like every day I came inside to my own penthouse. The hotels are not crazy expensive, and they genuinely make you feel like you are at home. The feeling of having a safe place to stay in a new location allowed me to appreciate the true beauty of the Bahamas, instead of being uncomfortable for the entire duration of my trip.

However, wherever you stay is guaranteed to offer the most beautiful view to wake up to. Starting my Mondays off with a view of the prettiest oceans and beaches known to the human race made me want to live this Monday over and over again.

There is Food for Every Palette

Obviously, food is a significant part of a vacation, and although it ended up in my stomach, even the food was mouthwatering to look at. Personally, I am not a huge fan of seafood, but there was no turning this seafood down. The national dish of the Bahamas is conch, so naturally, I decided to try it, and it was delicious. My eyes appreciated the beauty of the food just as much as my stomach did.

The Wildlife is Captivating

The wildlife in the Bahamas was unlike any other I have ever seen. On the shore, I saw the most exotic iguanas, parrots, crabs, flamingos, and turtles. In the water, I was able to see some of the most beautiful marine life in the world. The angelfish, clownfish, dolphins, sea turtles, and manatees swimming around and interacting with each other is one of the most valuable things I will ever see in life.

Conclusion

All around, my trip to the Bahamas is an experience I will forever be grateful for. The pure beauty of the islands is something no one would be able to forget, and I am always going to be incredibly in awe of how merely stunning every aspect of the Bahamas is. From the resorts and houses to the animals and the food, and, of course, to the water and sandy beaches, there is nowhere else on this planet that could compare.
