SproutBrite Vegetable Garden
The sense of accomplishment you feel when you’ve successfully done something you wanted to do is an amazing feeling. It’s similar to the feeling of having created something from nothing, or from something very different. Like turning a seed into a plant, which then produces a vegetable that you can eat. Nothing tastes quite as delicious as something that you’ve grown with your own two hands! That’s a feeling (and a taste) that I wanted my children to be able to experience. Thanks to SproutBrite, it is an accomplishment that they are achieving this summer!
We received the SproutBrite Heirloom Vegetable Kit to review, and my kids couldn’t be more happy. It arrives packaged in an adorable box, which is created to safely deliver your 10 containers of seeds. With this one kit, you’ll receive the seeds to grow tomatoes, radishes, carrots, corn, lettuce, onions, cucumbers, celery, peppers and broccoli. It’s an entire vegetable garden in one cute little box! You’ll also receive instructions for planting and caring for your seeds. They are written with cute graphics and simple words so that your older kids can understand it themselves.
We planted our seeds, with my children giving me the directions – which let me tell you, they absolutely LOVED doing! I’m not entirely sure if it was the digging in the dirt or the fact that they were telling Mommy how it needs to be done, but I’ve never seen my kids work together for so long without fighting! We got them planted, and then came the hardest part – waiting. Daily they would take turns watering the seeds, waiting excitedly to see what would happen.
Quicker than I thought it would be, we began to see green things popping up in the garden! My children were absolutely thrilled that their hardwork paid off. The excitement surrounding the garden grew and has remained super high as each day I am dragged out to the garden to see how much bigger each plant has grown. Bug, my middle child, has even named each of the plants and enjoys making up stories about their personalities and what they do when we aren’t there to watch them.
While we haven’t reeped the benefits of eating the veggies just yet – I’ll be sure to keep you updated as the plants grow – I just had to let you know about this amazing seed kit. It’s a one stop purchase for pretty much everything you need to get a vegetable garden growing. Head on over to SproutBrite to order your kit today!
