When you’re money doesn’t seem to be stretching as far as you’d like for it to, it can create a huge stress in your life. Money is one of the main reasons that couples fight – I know for sure it is in my house. So I’m always on the lookout for ways that I can save money and earn money on purchases that I need to make. That’s exactly what Ibotta does! Ibotta is a rewards program that you can use from your phone. They will give you cash back for the purchases that you make. Simply shop, scan and save!
It really can’t get much simplier than Ibotta. When I’m making my grocery list, I pull up the app. The products that you can earn rewards for are constantly changing, so be sure to check back every time that you go to the store. They have things from groceries to household necessities, from clothes to craft supplies. Make sure that you read the description as sometimes it is very specific as to what qualifies for the reward.
For example, right now if I purchase Tic Tac Freshmints (60ct) from Target, I get a $0.50 reward! How do I claim this? First, you’ll want to unlock the reward. This adds it to your “cart” or list of rewards that you can redeem. Then, head to Target and buy the Tic Tacs. Now, I’ll scan the barcode and then take a picture of the receipt. And that’s it! Once verified, Ibotta will add the $0.50 to my account. Once I hit $20.00, I can cash out.
What can I cash out for? MONEY! You get to pick how you’d like to receive this. You can have it sent through paypal, or you can select a gift card to name brand stores such as Target, Walmart, Best Buy, Old Navy, JoAnns, Applebees, Papa Johns, Amazon, Starbucks and more.
It’s not a get rich quick app. You do have to purchase the items, and they will cost more than what you will be getting back in return. However, I love using it because it gives me a reward for the items that I purchase on a regular basis for my house anyway. We need milk for cereal – why not get paid $0.25 for buying it?
I would love for you to give Ibotta a try, and to make the deal even sweeter, I have a special for you. If you signup using this link, you’ll get a $10 bonus after you redeem your first offer. Consider it my gift to you.
Do you use Ibotta now? Do you use another rewards app?
What rewards programs do you love using?
