Looking After Yourself as a Mother is Non-Negotiable

Say No

You may find that people are constantly trying to demand things from you. Most of them will need to be done, such as getting new school shoes for your child or taking your husband to work. Sometimes however, you need to say no and this is especially the case with things that don’t need to be done. This could include babysitting for someone else or it could even include saying no to staying behind at work. Little things like this can really make all the difference.


So looking after yourself is crucial when you have children. With so many things to do, things can seem impossible at times, but rest assured knowing that it is more than possible for you to change things for the better at all times and you’d be surprised at how much better you’ll feel when you just set some time aside for yourself.
