Of course, your heart is working harder to pump around the blood cells that carry the oxygen, so that’s likely why chest pains are caused. A shortness of breath is also a common symptom. If you’re not doing any exercise, then this could mean that it’s being caused by the lack of iron. Track what you’re doing on a daily basis, and that doesn’t require much effort and see if those activities and tasks wear you out and cause that shortness of breath.
Headaches And Dizziness
There are plenty of iron deficiency tablets that you can take to combat this deficiency so that these symptoms cease existing. One of which tends to be in the form of headaches or dizziness. Those sudden spells of feeling a little light-headed can often because of a lack of iron. Headaches are caused when not enough oxygen is going to the brain and that’s what causes the pain of a headache. Painkillers will get rid of headaches, but an addiction or regular use of painkillers is not advised.
Cold Hands And Feet
And finally, cold hands and feet might not merely be caused by a drop in temperature. As your body struggles to pump around the blood, it may have trouble reaching certain areas of the body. Blood keeps your body warm, and if there’s a lack of it, then the places that are likely to suffer would be the hands and feet. No matter how you try to keep them warm, tackle the problem by boosting your iron intake.
Iron can be digested through tablets, but also various food types contain iron. Look at changing your diet and what you can eat or digest to help boost your iron levels.
